In May 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Phoenix Contact, a trusted supplier of electrical components and tools we rely on to manufacture our customers’ products. Our Kaizen team, with 10 members on board, explored their latest products and tools, focusing on improving efficiency and process repeatability – from cable preparation and crimping to automated labelling systems.

We couldn’t resist adding a bit of healthy competition with a Top Gear-style challenge – wiring a special jig with 10 wires, idents, and bootlace ferrules. Well done to Andy, Jason, and Jake for their efforts, and a special shout-out to Dale, who set the fastest time of the year – an impressive 1 minute and 24 seconds!
